I agree with oilseep.The big question is;who is Deutsche
buying on behalf of? Investors seem to have this sort of cultural cringe where they think that people in charge of big dollops of other people's money must be smarter or know more than them.As the song says;It ain't necessarily so.I believe Woodside have sold their shares because the rationale for their taking them up in the first place no longer applies.No more and no less.All this talk about lack of confidence in Mauritania is just nonsense.
Contrary to some other posters I see this as a benefit as it throws open the share register and brings me back to my original question of who are Deutsche acting on behalf of?Hard-nosed types like this don't spend money like that on a whim.Better still-they don't spend money at all if they can spend someone else's and cream some off the top.
