well positioned for global cooling

It appears to me that there has been a dramatic increase in material boldly stating that we are not in global warming but headed for global cooling. I say 'boldly' as it is still politically incorrect in most places to make such assertions.

However, I take great comfort that Cuadrilla's vast gas potential will be even more valuable when the masses realize that the planet is cooling and no amount of extra CO2 emissions will help warm the planet, but will warm their homes. (Ironically some wind turbines may actually work a little better in a global cooling scenario but their economic basis will be shattered.)

I wonder how long it will take for sentiment to completely flip, and how much community anger will be directed at those who have unnecessarily delayed the timely extraction of gas from under their feet.
