Why don't you have a look at Melbourne IT MLB for a medium term hold. It's profitable, growing profits and revenue and on a low PE. Support looks strong at 61c so there's limited downside.
I feel that it's out of favour at the moment and as a consequence has been overlooked by a market focused on a defensive/gold strategy.
