That's because the Australian market for the sector is so off - it's been asleep for years and it still is - US peer comparisons measure many of these companies at many multiples of where they rest. Stuart Roberts who (previously) wrote for Bell Potter is the best versed Aus. analyst on the global picture. He left Bell Potter and went independent earlier this year though.
