when the Bible was composed, China was by far the most technologically advanced society in the world
there is nothing in the bible that did not exist in other cultures at the time
the bible was not ahead of its time
both the Indians & Chinese were fully cognisant in the laws of nature
further, the Indian & Chinese not only comprehended the physical & social laws but, unlike the Bible, they comprehended the psychological laws of ultimate happiness
the Bible had to wait until Jesus arrived on the scene before it explored higher laws of happiness (but still, it was & never has been complete)
if we ourselves have never thoroughly studied other religions then our unleared claims have no merits
in short, the bible was not ahead of its time
its best claim to being ahead of its time is an equitable society espoused by Moses (despite its violent punishments)
the impression here is none of the Xians here have found any extraordinary happiness in their lives, since they keep focusing of material science
