No idea if you can read this BB but since aborigines arrived in Australia sea levels have risen around 150m-170m. I have no idea if it is currently rising faster or slower but the fact is that the actual rate is quite slow and very easily adapted to by humans and animals.
There is no need to scare the population into thinking this is unnatural or something that we haven't seen before.
