paratoo the biggest postive for me in all of this is how transparent our new MD is. not sure if you were around when i mentioned that my biggest wins have always come under MDs who are happy to communicate in an open and informal manner and who are always quick to reply, because they work hard at instilling confidence in shareholders, which is the key to an uptrending shareprice.

at first i had to wonder if some of the things phil was saying would come to pass, and in each case he has been 100% good for his word. on this, i think we have alot of cause for confidence, and i know that the major shareholders and brokers alike who work with alara have all expressed the same confidence in the new board makeup and their word.

delta asked a while back why the shareprice went down so much from 50c in the past, and i am beginning to think it was mostly because very few people felt that the old board were walking their talk, they set unachievable deadlines and were ambiguous in explaining why they failed to meet them, and a single disgruntled major holder exiting over a period of one year did all the damage.

now we have the opposite, an MD who prefers to keep dialogue open at all levels, and aims to underpromise and overdeliver. i don't think you can ask for much more than that in a successful enterprise, and yet we DO have more, with the bluechip register and blueblood directors (quite literally in the case of the prince) adding a whole extra layer of credibility to the concept.
