I had similar issues with Westpac on RER last week.
Previous close 1.8c
Bid 2.1
Ask 2.7c
I tried to buy at 2.7c in the opening auction but Westpac cancelled my order on the basis of "market integrity" as that buy would have increased the price by 50% on small vol.
Yet a few seconds after my order was pulled, someone was able to overbid and open it up 3c on 100k vol.
Different rules for some.
