Looks like BC was designed from the ground up to mimic gold, yet be outside the banking system with no futures contracts, leverage or fractional reserve, and of course easier to transact with and store.

If it can reach a broad enough base the volatility will settle down and it will be more useful for trading than gold is. It may suffer from its in-elasticity in terms of liquidity.

It really acts like a non fractional ETF with peer to peer settlements - outside the gov. or banking system - fuggin brilliant really.

It basically is virtual Gold or digital Gold if you like. Some of my friends are rich now in BC terms, If I was in their position, I would keep a physical hedge in Gold and Property.

    Thats what I reckon anyway.
