Abbott has to come to the realisation that as PM it is HIS responsibility to fix this quagmire;
I know you would find this hard to believe but I am willing to bet he already knows this.
I am also sure he would prefer to be able handle it in private, not on the front page of the papers. The fact that the Jakarta Post is carrying out megaphone diplomacy doesn't mean we should.
