Egypt is signed on a peace treaty with Israel and despite the fact that this peace is a "cold peace" , it is still strategicaly very important to Israel interests as well as to the overall pro western regimes in the Middle East , both are of high value during these highly critical days we are living in . If this article contents were true , they would have far reaching implications . Do not forget that Egypt is a vital ally to the US interest in the region , and Mobarek has a strong underground terrorizing opposition , that tried many times to assasinate him. This movement - " the muslim brotherhood " - has great deal of indirect support within Egypt .A potential future success of the anti Mobarek opposition is a great danger to Israel .Egypt has been getting an annual economic support from the USA in the visinity of 2 billion USD , without which , the Eygptian economy , would have had immense difficulties of survival .thanks .duff
