Having ownership control is one thing, but having little regard for minority holders (and therefore also the investment community at large) also reflects a management team who are not that fussed about the share price (short and long term), which means it will always be a cheap stock trading on a low p/e relative to its peers.
I do not invest for the short term, I look at 3 to 5 years, which is the same timeframe as a lot of fund managers. I am of the view that companies with high private ownership that operate this way will not change their spots.
There will always be another data centre to build and depreciate.
So I will pass on this one.
