The simple answer is that the current product being used by water authorities ie ALUM is much cheaper than Phoslock. Is Alum good and suitable for future environmental needs re water - this is the question being posed by Phoslock. Once this question is resolved, phoslock will either tank or takeoff in a big way. However, it is and will take time as it is always hard to shift the incumbent - however harmful and inefficient it may be.
