"can you tell it is a little quiet today?"
It has been a pretty exciting day for most goldie holders, but many of them are so used to the pain that they do not seem to be complaining publicly any longer. What is the point I suppose.
The POG did not change much during the day but many select goldies were kicked in the teeth 8-10%.
I suppose it was in anticipation of further declines in the POG, and because GDX/HUI/GDXJ all fell last Friday night.
You need a cast iron stomach to hold onto your goldies these days, and a large bank balance.
Since the ASX closed today, the USD POG has fallen around $10 to USD1230, only another $50 to go to hit the June 2013 low.
loki (sold completely out of the golden quagmire a couple of weeks ago. Awaiting a sign from heaven (or from pieces) that all is clear on that front. lol It could be a long wait.)
