Yes, actually it does. If Jesus Christ was not fully God then he would be divine in the first place.

I think you've got it backwards there. If it WERE simply an allegory and God doesn't punish the wicked for their chosen actions, then not only was the destruction of all people simply an allegory to be ignored but so were many other Biblical accounts, like the crucifixion for example.

Nope. The Bible is simply the revelation of Christ. Now along with that will be the revelation of the natural order of the universe as an expression of the nature of the Godhead which will include how we should lead our lives, but it's not JUST that.
