The triune Godhead although difficult to understand can be looked upon by examples found in our earthly realm.
if one uses the conventional dimensional approach we can use the allegory of space comprised of 3 separate but intimately related components of height width and depth. Each distictly different but all essential components of what we generally refer to a space
if a more materialistic example (of something that is of an immaterial God,) if possible can be the often quoted 3 states of water as liquid solid and vapour
If we look at the triune God from the point of language such as mathematics we see the Father Son and Holy Spirit naturally we initially think this logically as 1 + 1 + 1 = 3 but how can that be if God is only one. The more appropriate equation with respect to the triune God would be 1 * 1 * 1= 1
but lets look at a more human level the concept of love. Love is something that cannot be measured in a test tube or weighed. You cant get a kilo of love for a son or daughter. But we know several things about God.
God is timeless and his nature never changes If God is love then love is timeless and love is a concept that is in a context of relationship. It must have been present with the Alpha and not created. The God of love is not the love of self ie narcissim. The love of God that is timeless is found in the love of the son for the father and that of the holy ghost in relationship with each other.
