instant karma

During question time at the AGM (following the EGM), I pointed out to Mr Warris that I had received a Concerns Notice from him (and the other two) just for publishing two unembellished verses from John Lennon's song "Instant Karma".

I asked him if he still felt defamed by a song that he probably hummed along with when it was released in 1973, and if not, would he like to take this opportunity to apologise to me for the distress that Concerns Notice caused my wife and me.

The new Chairman asked him if he would like to respond and he sat there and shook his head.

While he was shaking his head, I was looking at the expressions on the faces of his fellow directors, and, sue me if you want to Mr Warris, but those looks told me that Instant Karma is going to get you.
