I stopped and asked one of the protestors a couple of questions:
What's the GDP of Malaysia...don't know (repled with blank look).
What's the unemployment rate in KL...not sure but high.
What would happen to Malaysia if they didn't have foreign investment in Malaysia... we would be OK (yeh right)
What do you do for a living...no answer (blank look - again)
So, what do you expect to get from this... shut down Lynas.
Why...bla bla bla - nothing worth mentioning (strange blank look.
Good thing there was a pub just down the road, I really needed to meet some real people after that BS.
