    Easier for BHP to go through the backdoor.
    ie BHP increases value in a fund that is buying into CSM and then buy out the fund as can buy at market rates without a premium and get convertible notes to boot.
    Might pay for you th check which funds are buying and their proportion of total stock on offer that is in CSM
