There is no doubt the marches around the globe are protesting about something more than war. Many of them probably march in the anti-globalisation demonstrations also. However they are now being joined by the ordinary man in the street who realises that something has gone wrong in the world. They are protesting against lack of consultation from those at the top;lack of information[truth rather that lies].I'm sure most are not against war,but are certainly against war for little reason but to appease the rich and powerfull or one nation ahead of the rest of us.We certainly need better leaders than we have at the moment;they are poor communicators. As for WMD,these are not new inventions and have been freely available from the major powers to despots who were doing their bidding. This is what the marchers are saying...'we are disappointed in the leadership that has lead us to this predicament'.It is well to remember that Winston Churchill was dumped by the UK electorate after WW2;winning a war is not always seen as a success, having to fight in a war is often seen as a failure of previous policies.
