Dear Timber7,
I take your point about the fact if zones 4 & 5 are poor quality, zones 1-3 are good which can be exploited now. Further, I take your point about the costs of production of zones 4 & 5 versus the income those 2 zones generate if they aren't great quality. It appears you are sympathetic to forgetting zones 4 &5, for the moment at least. Is that an accurate conclusion?
If so, is that on the basis the company would likely make money sooner if they forget about zones 4 & 5 now? Or are you fearful of the well integrity if the JV continues?
Isn't it better to conclude drlling zones 1-5 now and know where we stand rather than a half done job? Would it be difficult to stop now, produce from zones 1-3, and then drill zones 4 & 5 having a production well established? Or would the production well keep pumping and the revenue generated allow for a different test well later on?
Interested on your thoughts regarding how you would proceed.
