What about the government not contributing to private schools but giving those who use private schools a tax rebate.
The fact is the parents who pay $25k a year to educate their kids are in the minority of net taxpayers. No tax handouts just big tax bills on their income and super contributions. No rebate on their health insurance but paying more than their fair share in tax. Paying for their own kids education and paying for someone else's to have a laptop and an education.
The actual government contribution towards a $22k fee us around $1500..
