FWIW Australian biotechs always limp through clinical trials being very conservative of cash outlay & trying to do everything as cheaply as possible. Big Pharma & Big Biotech completely different paradigm they spare no expense and drop multiples of what would generally be considered sufficient funds. Hence why any kind of split funding for trials would really not work favourably.
