Noticed LSG have assisted IamGold in the acquisition of Gallery Gold (which was merged with another LSG holding-Spinifex). Created the mergers into a bigger picture so it could exit the situation.
Same with East Africa last year as well as MPI....establishing a track record of making investments bigger in order to exit? Valid stategy and Robbin is no fool.
The mix of IRN and LAF would be looking attractive in the near future when LAF gets its house together?
I know I have mentioned it before, but the Gallery situation confirms the precedent. Though I still cannot see anything overly positive happening until LAF comes out with a definitive statement as to production/capital requirements.
Cheers,TAS
