Like all other consumers in the avaricious developed world, we Australians demand the latest and greatest.
This is no different in caravans, and FWD has the flexible manufacturing ability to meet changing consumer needs and preferences - at the top with Windsor and at the bottom with Coromal. There will always be demand for new caravans as there is for new homes, cars, etc. And, FWD also service the second hand market with parts and accessories supplier Camec.
So the RV business which FWD was built around is still in reasonable shape as the company consolidates its operations to WA. Yes the SP has fallen off a cliff, but the question is - has the value of the overall business changed proportionally?
