Hi Enn. I' ve put in four large 9 cm depth pavers this afternoon to hold the claws. All levelled now. The dirt underneath the pavers is quite solid but are you suggesting to put down some crusher dust underneath the pavers? I think I saw a bag of it in Bunnings today.
On one side I'm going to plant some miniature agapanthus in the ground and maybe some ornamental garlic that desperately needs divided elsewhere and then use pots and pebbles. I like the idea of paving leading up to the Bath for reasons that you have mentioned. It will sit under a large Mango Tree and Frangipani.
I am concerned about the waste water when the bath is unplugged. Our Plumber has quoted $900 for some soakwells, but as the days go by, I am wondering whether we just let the water go onto the lawn and outdoor paving....not sure as of yet.
It's going to looks quite cool in time I feel.
In regards to an outside bath, we've installed a hot/cold tap outside just recently for the bath, along with a hot/cold tap for the outside shower (already installed). We live in Perth WA so hot water is needed for the colder spells.
In terms of having an outdoor bath and why? It was one of my partner's dreams to have one so she must be obeyed. :) We both agreed an outdoor Spa won't be used much - we have one inside and we have no room for a decent pool and having pools most of my life, I can live without one. Maybe we could fit a narrow lap pool at the side or one out the front, but the view to the Park would be spoilt due to fencing etc. As I said, I don't feel the need anymore to have one due to the upkeep and maintenance etc - as of yet.
I really appreciate the feedback and any further guidance from anyone would be met with gratitude.
