Remember Mark Smith rushing to market to announce ANOTHER 19kt module literally just weeks after Lynas announced LAMP2, but Lynas was underpinned by Sojitz whereas Smith only had his, you know what, in his hand. Did the world ever really need another 9.5kt of Ce in 2012?
BTW Trekker, not putting Con K down, but NC was saying that stuff 3/4 years ago and it's been very much the core of RED, the Lynas business plan for much longer. Customer interface is key, (it is NOT a "build it and they will come" business as many presumed) and Lynas have been working away at that for years, and recruiting specialists like EN & JCS along the way.
When that realisation finally dawned on Moly they then tried the quick fix of dropping $1.5B at the top of the market to BUY a customer base, but even that will not balance their suite/excessive volume to market.
