well here are some interesting facts for debate.

using early guesses on dimensions and 2.75 SG and 1.4 ppm (as VT suggests)

volume of hobbs pipe would be around 1 Moz

Co has refined the dimensions to an ellipsoid cylinder of 110 * 200 !!!

take this to 230m deep as VT suggests (to approximate pit)

volume of hobbs pipe to 230m depth would be only around 0.5Moz

Geosun guess on ET was based on 110 * 235 * 1250m deep.
they put forward 3.2-4.6 Moz based on this.

the Co has since confirmed depth to around 880m from memory..

so the latest known dimensions are

110 * 200 * 880m (ellipsoid cylinder)

volume of these dimension using a more generous 1.4ppm and SG assumptions Geosun (and VT) use would thus equate to around 1.9Moz

So it is quite clear that the Geosun guess is out of date and has been missed by a long way.

The company confirmed this with their updates.

I'd say that is a pretty big miss right there.
And continued use of the bigger volume is in fact highly misleading and contrary to public information.
