Joint venture activities on the Leinster Gold project, WA
are underway. The Leinster Gold Project is an asset
acquired through the recent takeover of Breakaway
Resources Ltd.
A multi-purpose drill rig is mobilising to the first target
site, Salute, where ~3000m of aircore drilling is
planned to test anomalous gold geochemistry to a
depth of 100m. Deeper RC drilling will test anomalous
Au zones detected in the aircore drilling.
Further, Minotaur continues to review Breakaway’s
extensive database of lag sample Au anomalies,
historical rock chip Au and base metal anomalies,
together with ongoing geophysical interpretation,
geological mapping and geochemical sampling.
This review is expected to delineate new Au prospects
for additional drill testing in 2014.
