Anyway - you've just answered your own question. If it is not obvious - and the volumes are so low - then how on earth is there manipulation??
Ask yourself this - QBE come out with a clanger of a result or TPG come out with a blinder or an annoucement - coupled with the fact that you can trade/short the Top 50 plus every other index under the sun.
So - which fund or even high net worth (capable of market maniplation) is going to bother on NEN when any a) the return will be miniscule and b) the chances of getting caught are high (because it will be bleeding obvious).
Anyway - I've said my piece now - so post a reply if you wish - but I'm finished on this topic.
