Qantas just hit its lowest ever price of 96 cents.
There are 2.1 billion shares on issue and every single shareholder, big and small, is now in a loss situation.
I think this is going to come to head much sooner than the journos and others think. The big shareholders are ruthless and have no sentiment. What they will do is anyone's guess, but the board needs to do something today.
Lenders will be looking to protect themselves.
Looking at the minute chart is a bit scary.
Yesterday was when Alan Joyce and the board needed to make a positive-action announcement. They may have missed their chance.
