The date that you can claim this stock as a capital loss is the date the liquidator says there is no likelihood of a return to shareholders, which is 22 October 2013.

I will say that in my long experience in investing, the 2011 and 2012 accounts for this company were the most dubious I have ever seen.

Hopefully the liquidator recommends to ASIC that the directors involved never hold public office again!
