You can sugarcoat it as much as you like, a cap raise will impact the share price negatively and it could take a while to recover. There goes a few Xmas plans. PAB did a similar thing the other week, dyor.

Companies like to do cap raises when the share price is higher so it won't dilute as much etc.

The question that comes to mind is... Do they not expect the share price to get higher any time soon?

Alternatively what is the reason for this cap raise? I would hope to hear an announcement of a deal made soon after. Otherwise we could be in trouble for a while in terms of SP. But that's the business. The company comes first not the shareholders.

See this happen all too often, now looks like this is a longer term investment than I first hoped. One needs to reassess their timeframes.

Fingers crossed that a big deal has been signed and is announced very soon. Although the German thread was saying the same thing back in 2011. Food for thought.
