True although are people in countries like china, Indonesia etc really going to be worried about their carbon footprint? If you are riding a scooter in the first place I assume your first worry is going to be economic and I doubt someone is going to pay $1000 more for a scooter to save $5 a month on fuel. I feel like if we are going to target these emerging markets our main contributing factors to success is going to be a) can we compete on price and b) do we have a product that consumers want to buy.
More interested in point a. Does anyone know how a VMOTO produced scooter compares in price with a similar petrol engine?
