Take a look at waiting lists for cancer treatment in many public hospitals. If they are unable to provide adequate healthcare, etc for those doing it REALLY tough then we should expect them to have the decency to take a work trip without their spouses and family tagging along on taxpayer money.
I thought Mr Rudd fixed all that. He certainly promised loud and long in '07 that he would.
