My thoughts to share:
Reason for "merger" (or takeover):
1) long life (20+ yrs) reserves
2) no debt + new loan approved
Potential bidders:
1) Beach energy? unlikely as it did not go to a trading halt
2) someone from overseas eyeing AWE asset - more likely
takeover!, page-19
