wa man charged with market manipulation

Anyone know any more about this one ? I don't, but I do keep getting the feeling ASIC go for the little fish and ignore the sharks. Perhaps this guy was a big player ?

A Western Australian man yesterday appeared before the Fremantle Magistrates Court on six charges of market manipulation.
The charges related to Gavin Brown's trading of shares in Astron Ltd between August and December 2001.
The Australian Securities and Investments Commission alleged the 32-year-old former Fremantle man placed orders through three brokers in a manner that was likely to create a false or misleading appearance regarding the market for Astron.
The charges were laid following a referral from the Australian Stock Exchange and an investigation by ASIC.
Brown was not required to enter a plea and was bailed to reappear on March 10, 2003
