The line that made the biggest impression on me was "There have been 101 unsuccessful attempts since 1998, according to the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America."

Of course we are hoping and expecting that the 102nd attempt - PBT2 - will be successful. But those are sobering statistics! A lot of very smart people have stumbled along the road, including some at the final hurdle. Finding a treatment for AD isnt brain surgery - its much more difficult. If our folk down in Melbourne can pull this off ... wow!

Meanwhile, I think about the scale of this challenge and ask myself: hmm, perhaps i should take my original stake off the table and go into results on a free-carried basis. That would be prudent. But, I think I will probably hold my nerve. If I win I will congratulate myself on my commitment; if I lose I will curse myself for my greed. Time will tell. The universe doesnt care about me and my finances; but I think it will care about Prana.
