I sold my TI6 shares yesterday. I still have not received a trade confirmation even though I nominated to receive these by email .

I can see on the account that the sale went through and my cash funds ( not available) are shown in Singapore dollars and the US dollar equivalent.

After searching the CommSec web site I am none the wiser on what happens after settlement. Do Commsec or Perishing pay Singapore, USD or AUD to me ? If so, do they pay the amount to my usual bank account, or do I have to provide some instruction.

Of particular concern, do I get slugged by the Commonwealth Bank's lousy (read rip off) foreign exchange rates.

I have been buying and selling shares several times a week for many years. But this stuff with Commsec has hairs on it.

The media keeps banging on about SMSFs leveraging into property, but at least no one can take your property and move it to Singapore and then force you to deal with a new agent to sell it over there and get slugged with foreign exchange charges.
