There is a panic short covering action going on this afternoon in gold stocks, as a ETF gold fund swallows about $75 to $100m. Rises of 5 to 10%.
That probably means that gold will have a welcome rise tonight.
The relevance to FMG is that on top of all the other good news, if the current FMG shorts panic, that will add more pressure to a possible strong up move.
The market is closing right at its week's high.
I have no interest in gold, I have never been able to get a handle on it.
