I thought I had made my point. I'll summarise for you.
This thread has BS header. No "waste" dumping is to be done on the GBR.
The "waste" is materials that nature moves constantly on a massive scale anyhow, especially during extreme weather events.
Dugong habitat disturbance is one of the arguments being used against dredging. But the tiny area involved wouldn't worry dugongs as they can swim. There is no evidence that a single dugong has been killed by dredging.
The biggest killer of dugongs is hunting. If greenies want to look after dugong populations, then hunting should be banned. There is no need whatsoever to kill them for food.
Laws in a democratic society should be universal, not racist.
They are my opinions, the points I have made in this argument.
