That's two permanently down in the touring party as I can't see Trott ever playing at the highest level again either.

I, for one, am happy though as Swann has been ordinary for a while, totally in love with himself and has always been the #2 behind Monty anyway IMO.

The above was proven yet again in Adelaide when he was outbowled by Monty, yet Swann got the nod ahead of him for Perth.

Good to see Monty will be back in the place he deserves at #1.

There has been talk about Flower, if his interview after Perth was anything to go by he is finished as well.

KP could also walk before he is pushed.

Surely Prior's career has already finished with the rubbish he has been serving up over this series and the previous series in England.

    As for Anderson, who knows?

Cook is even in danger. His feet, competence as a batsman, captain and leader, and brains have been nowhere to be seen this summer.

England have options in youth with both bat and ball, so now would be a good time to start.

Ballance and Bairstow in this series with Robson and Compton to follow in the next series for starters. There must be bowling talent out there waiting to be tried and tested as well.

Right now if there was a Test Series between England and the West Indies, it would be hard to pick the winner, but one thing would be certain - the standard of cricket would be appalling - neither side plays with any skill, brains, concentration or determination.
