SUMMERSET APPOINTS CFO
Summerset Group Holdings Limited announces the appointment of Scott Scoullar
to the role of Chief Financial Officer, effective March 2014.
The appointment follows current CFO, Julian Cook, taking up the role of CEO
upon Norah Barlow's retirement on 7 April 2014.
Mr Scoullar is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce and
Administration. He was the recipient of NZICA's Public Sector CFO of the
Year award for 2011, and received a Special Commendation at the 2012 New
Zealand CFO Summit Awards.
Scott is also a Fellow of CPA Australia and a CPA NZ Council Board Member.
Mr Scoullar joins Summerset from Housing New Zealand, where he has been the
CFO since early 2012 and responsible for accounting for over $16 billion in
housing assets, and also over $1 billion in annual revenue.
Prior to his role at Housing New Zealand, Scott was CFO of Inland Revenue,
and has also held several senior positions throughout an extensive 12 year
banking career.

Summerset's growth plan" said CEO Norah Barlow.
