One only has to read both Matthew & Luke chapter 2 to see that the nativity scene as depicted by christendom is warped as are many of the clear teachings of the Scriptures.
Luke describes the visit of shepherds at the time of Jesus birth while Matthew's account relates what occurred later when Jesus was a "young child", living in a "house" (Mt 2:9-11),where Jehovah intervened to prevent Jesus being murdered.
While the exact date of Jesus birth cannot(need not)be calculated the exact date of his death at 33 1/2 years of can be. A simple calculation from there gives us early October of the year 2 Before Common Era(BCE) as the time of his birth.
