I buy a lot of tatts packs for gifts - no one should give such a gift on the presumption that they are entitled to some of the winnings. Same with the usual stories of workers being in a syndicate where they finally win, but one clown that did not pay on that week gets cut up because he/she suddenly wants their share - it would be up to the winners to decide.

That happened in the USA recently, where a nice young mum could did not play one week because of some kind of bad luck. Sure enough, the winners decided that she would be given her share as if she had paid - great story.
