re: wpl and tiof For some reason WPL has wanted to downplay Tiof, from which HDR was suffered unquesitoned collateral damage. This on top of the WPL selldown, has made me quite angry about all things WPL recently. It simply beggars belief that you could be sitting on 1 billion barrels of oil, no matter how "complex" the reservoir, and have questions surrounding the field's viability, to which WPL has been the core contributor. However as I recall the Tiof issue has been largely warehoused until Q2 '06 when there will be further drillling. Unless some broking house has decided to downgrade Tiof ( a possibiltiy) or Voelte has been going around badmouthing Tiof, or at least damning it with faint praise are possibilities that can't be excluded.
Enuff of my rant. Today was a sh*t sandwich & some of us took a few bites. Still HDR can bounce back as we all should know by now.
