Maybe I've missed it . Does he mention anywhere when and why negative gearing was introduced ? Considering he has such a strong view on the subject , I thought he may have started with the whole history of negative gearing ?
I don't know when it started . I can only assume that it was to encourage private investors and ease the burden of the government .
Shouldn't we understand the problem before we provide the solution ?
