in the end of 2013, Baotou completed the final fence construction of 3 m wide + 2 m deep trenches and 2.5 m high fence enclosed barbed wire(58 km/627 cameras/190 people security team/24-hour patrols,etc), first time in history to achieved full closure management of the mine.
Driven by the huge profits, Baotou mine become a major source (Mainly as light rare earth)of theft and smuggling ,Now finally this smuggling source will be strangling.
