I was responding to a subsequent post (not from you), that specifically indicated that things were not looking good because they were only testing one of the four zones. This doesn't make sense, because testing a single zone is a standardised method for production testing. A DST is not only a test, but a temporary well completion for the purpose of developing a production well.
When testing a single zone a result can be determined from the total compartment if:
a) each objective or zones is interconnected (by natural or unnatural circumstances).
b) enough information exists from the wireline logging in other zones.
This is multi-layer-test procedure. It commonly occurs. Also it may not be sensible at this stage to test each zone if the main producing objective is 10Tcf, but zone 1,2,3 are 250, 550, 350 bcf respectively.
