The Moshi Basin to the North is certainly prospective with a basin fill of upto 3000m of Neogene sediments. I reckon once the interpretation is complete, there will be several leads and prospects with considerable prospective resources.
The jury is still out on the shallower Mvungwe basin to the South of the licence. While a basin of 1000m might seem really shallow for oil generation, the thermal gradients in the EARS allow for oil to be generated in such depths. The company is doing studies on the heat flows and that will definitively determine whether the basin is prospective.
